K-17 oil

K-17 oil (GOST 10877-76) is a blend of aviation and transformer oil with the addition of oxidized petrolatum, SKB-45 rubber and additive composition.

Field of application

Used for long-term (5 years or more) preservation of products, including spare parts made of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, stored without direct impact of climatic factors. Internal combustion engines are conserved without disassembly: regular oil is drained, filters are turned off, K-17 oil is pumped, excess oil is removed. K-17 oil can be used as an additive to high-sulfur gas turbine fuels (0.002% for fuel). At the same time, corrosion of the fuel equipment of engines is significantly reduced and the overhaul period of their operation is increased.
